“CNN for young people,” and chose that vehicle to build a bridge of communication with kids. This is community police work at its best. Officers Davis, Martin, and Holcomb reside in Chicago. Debra Nichols is a dynamic young woman who gave up a promising career in the computer science industry to care for people less-fortunate than herself. Nichols is the Program Outreach Coordinator for project Angel Food. This operation provides food services to terminally ill patients in South Central Los Angeles. Nichols is originally from Lansing, Michigan, and resides in North Hollywood, CA. At age 17, Leon Watkins dropped out of High School, joined the army, and obtained a G.E.D. After his discharge, Watkins attended Pepperdine University and earned a degree in sociology. He is the Executive Director of The Family Helpline, a non-profit corporation dedicated to reducing the drop-out rate, drug and alcohol prevention, and other issues that plague young people. Watkins is originally from Peoria, Illinois, and resides in Los Angeles. |
